About the Artist

Hello there! My name is Heather and I have been doing stained glass as a hobby for about 1.5 years now. I got started as most crafty people do, with an impulsive purchase on marketplace for "stained glass start up kit" and a thought of, "Huh, this could be fun!". From there, I scored my first piece of glass, broke it with a satisfying 'CRCCKKK' and off I went! 

The name Glass 'N' Cats came from our two current kitties, Einstein and Elroy who make it their job to hold down the boxes in my studio while I work. Elroy (left) enjoys staring out the window, chittering at the passersby while Einstein (right) makes it his life's mission to steal my chair and burrow into my booty blanket covering the seat. I swear he is a ground hog, not a cat.
